Palin spoke in Wisconsin recently and her paranoia seeped out. There were no cameras, cell phones, laptops, press, etc. allowed, but politico did get in. Palin discussed some changes that have been occurring, such as moving the phrase “In God We Trust” from the center of new coins to the edge.
This theory apparently comes from a chain e-mail (which have proven so reliable, as seen on this blog). The obvious point she was making here is that Democrats are secularizing America. The problem is that Democrats were not responsible for the move. She asked, “Who calls a shot like that? Who makes a decision like that?” As Fox News points out, the Republican Congress and George W. Bush are responsible for that. Oops.
Also, she rambled about death panels again.
It’s nice to see Fox expose a lie like this. Now if they’d just fact check Glenn Beck (somebody should at that network should).
Enjoy knowing she holds no office.

I’ve always thought it a little odd that we have “In God We Trust” on our currency. Is money our god? I would think conservatives would believe this is breaking the first commandment.
That’s deep Skye…give me a break. It doesn’t imply that money is our god, it says “In God We Trust”, perhaps to remind us that money isn’t everything or to be a testimony for what our nation is founded on. Your comment didn’t make sense at all and actually makes Palin’s comment (which wasn’t a sensible one either) look logical.
If I remember right, Ray, one of our first discussions was about your support for Palin. How does it make you feel that she will throw something out there that any average Joe can tell is absolutely false?
I still support Palin. We all make mistakes, Obama sat through years of Wright’s sermons and the average Joe would be outraged at many of his teachings and beliefs. Look at Biden, he is constantly making a fool of himself. I’m not going to throw Palin under the bus for this, especially since our government is pushing God out. She may have been off on this example, but it’s true in many other places from our court rooms to our class rooms.
Just had to check to see if you were still behind her.
Boy she’s helping those Alaskans so much by making money spitting conspiracy theories.
Sorry, I had to nail her one last time.
