The most commented post on our blog, “Miss Me Yet” has actually meant something to someone because they have apparently put money into a billboard (anonymously) according to an NPR Blog Post.

It was originally thought to have been an internet hoax however several news organizations in the Twin Cities area have confirmed the billboard.  Maybe more of these billboards will start to appear throughout the country.

Liberals may not miss him but its obvious there are some people out there that do.

…and some Russians think they were better off under Stalin.

Really Cory, Really. You are comparing this to the man that got us through the biggest tragedy in our country’s history to the man that cause so much devastation in Russia. That really cool of you.

I have said this before to you…GO AWAY!

As the only real conservative that posts here. . . at least from what I’ve read, let me say “No, I don’t miss George” Just becasue i have a sharp stick in my eye, doesn’t mean I miss the sharp stick in my other eye. What we are really missing is someone worthwhile to remove both sticks. We don’t have that, yet.

Don’t go away Cory. I get your point.

And e-mail forwards are still dumb. It’s not as though there’s some magic to a billboard that validates a point. If there were, the Wall Drug signs would be much less laudatory.

Of course Adam, you would understand his point. I would like to think that if Gore would have been our president we would have slept for 4 or 8 years and not known what hit us on 9/11.

Comparing Bush to Stalin is a completely assholish thing to do and I completely lose any respect to anyone the would do such as a thing….

I’d like to have Alice define “conservative”. I guess I consider myself conservative. I support a flat tax system, reforms in welfare programs that reduce spending and hand-outs, less federal control in state matters, and an immediate ban on deficit spending. That’s if we’re talking about being a fiscal conservative. If we’re talking about being a social conservative then I support the right to life, marriage between one man and one woman, the death penalty, and the right to home school. I oppose our nation’s U.N. membership and contributions, every stimulus package that has been passed by Bush or Obama, universal healthcare, mandatory enrollment in social security, cap and trade, wars we can’t fund, the closing of Gitmo, and many other programs. Where am I not conservative? Not sure where Dr stands on many of these things, but that’s where I’m at.

Gore would have slept? I don’t get it.

The point is people can miss something that isn’t good for them. It’s not necessarily a comparison.

Gore would have slept and upon waking, After eating three double Whoppers with cheese and a tub of fries, he would have linked the attacks to those who deny global warming and pressed for stronger government emissions standards on aircraft that hit buildings. Then the hypocrite would have flown to Tennessee, driven with a fleet of SUVs to mansion that uses as much energy as 200 homes so he could lecture us on carbon credits. Problem solved. Right?

Remember, Jimmy Carter created the Department of Energy to reduce our dependence or foreign oil… today Obama is overspending to reduce the deficit. The economic meltdown can be traced back to Clinton’s policies to push shaky loans so that “everyone” could afford a house. When will liberals realize that more central control takes away the incentive to work harder and create more prosperity?

Regulate our borders, not our economy. Free markets rule.

    Haha, funny joke.

Clinton’s policies had very little to do with the meltdown.

The article states the billboard is located in Wyoming, MN which is Michelle Bachmann’s district which probably clarifies things a little. Bachmann is probably not the only crazy person there.

And Kevin, at least with Gore, we would have invested in other forms of energy and wouldn’t have been at war all these years which is one of the reasons were so deep in debt. NIce try pushing it on Clinton. Another reason for the meltdown was the lack of regulations and lack of enforcing them.
