This risky move may (hopefully) work out for Jim Webb. He’s getting support from liberals and libertarians, which is to be expected. The surprising thing is that he’s also getting support from many conservatives, including Lindsey Graham. There may be actual positive change on a politically risky issue. This has been needed for a long time. Moving past the idea that changing our policy on non-violent drug offenders means you’re soft on crime is a huge step. Let’s hope it works out. Here is a link with a small update: Webb appears to be succeeding.

Enjoy Michael Scott starting his own paper company.

  1. Interesting You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this matter to be really something that I think I would never understand. It seems too complex and very broad for me. I’m looking forward for your next post at Red, Blue & Purple » Blog Archive » More on Webb’s prison reform efforts , I’ll try to get the hang of it! Thanks, I’ve gone ahead and bookmarked http://theamericannews.net/election/?p=610 at facebook.com so my friends can see it too

  2. I precisely wanted to thank you so much once more. I am not sure the things I might have sorted out in the absence of those suggestions shared by you concerning such topic. This has been an absolute daunting difficulty in my position, however , being able to view a new well-written technique you processed it took me to jump with delight. Now i’m happy for this work and have high hopes you really know what a great job you happen to be providing teaching other individuals all through your website. I am sure you haven’t met any of us.
