Donald Trump’s co-campaign chief, Susie Wiles, is rarely seen in the media and is known by Trump as the “Ice Maiden” – now she’ll be his chief of staff in the White House.
Wiles, a 67-year-old grandmother and respected political operative from New Jersey, was considered the front-runner for the job. Her position was confirmed just moments ago.

“Susie likes to stay in the back, let me tell you. We call her the Ice Maiden,” Trump said in his victory speech.
As senior campaign manager, Wiles encouraged Trump to simplify his messaging, urge his supporters to use postal votes and play to his strengths, Britain’s The Daily Telegraph reported.
“Susie is tough, smart, innovative, and is universally admired and respected. Susie will continue to work tirelessly to Make America Great Again,” Trump said in a statement.
“It is a well deserved honour to have Susie as the first-ever female Chief of Staff in United States history. I have no doubt that she will make our country proud.”
Wiles is a longtime Florida-based Republican strategist who ran Trump’s campaign in the state in 2016 and 2020. Before that, she ran Rick Scott’s 2010 campaign for Florida governor and briefly served as the manager of former Utah Governor Jon Huntsman’s 2012 presidential campaign.
