Would you consider Northern Colorado to be a fun place to live? As a resident of Fort Collins, I am a bit biased, but I would say unequivocally, yes. I think Northern Colorado is a blast and I am proud to be a Northern Colorado resident.
I find myself constantly entertained and believe there is so much to do. However, new research from WalletHub suggests that I might be biased.
Which Colorado Cities Are Fun
WalletHub identified the most cities across the nation based on 65 metrics. Those metrics were divided by three major categories: entertainment and recreation, nightlife and parties, and cost.
An average of those 65 metrics was considered to create the official ranking of WalletHub’s Most Fun Cities in America list.
On the 180 cities that were included on the list. Not one Northern Colorado city like Greeley, Loveland, Fort Collins, Estes Park, or Windsor cracked the top 180 cities.
Only three Colorado cities made the top list, including 180 cities across the nation.
Where Colorado Ranked Best
Aurora was the 130th most fun city in the country, Colorado Springs ranked at 70, and Denver was ranked 13th.
Denver especially scored well in the nightlife and parties ranking and Colorado Springs’s best category was entertainment and recreation. I think we all know that Colorado cities did not rank extremely well when it comes to being able to have fun while being cost-efficient.
Am I upset with the folks at WalletHub? Not at all. But I do believe this is proof that Northern Colorado is the brightest and best-hidden gem in America.
