Aon Insurance Managers (IM), the unit of the global insurance and reinsurance broker that provides insurance management services, across commercial, captive and insurance-linked securities (ILS) vehicles, has hired Charlotte Shreeve as its new Director of ILS North America.
Shreeve has a background in insurance-linked securities (ILS) finance and operations from her previous two roles in Bermuda, prior to which she worked in accounting and audit.
She will take on a newly created role and will remain based in Bermuda for Aon Insurance Managers (AIM), reporting to Séadna Kirwan, Managing Director.
In the role, Shreeve will head up the insurance-linked securities (ILS) related service offering in North America for AIM, developing and executing on a growth strategy for the region.
She will also manage and direct services provided to large multi-national clients with complex insurance programs specialising in the ILS market and lead execution on client value creation plans across the ILS portfolio to build on cedant and investor relationships.
Prior to joining Aon, Shreeve spent over three and a half years working at Lancashire, as the Controller, Finance and Operations for the firm’s third-party capital management unit, Lancashire Capital Management.
Before that, Shreeve worked as Financial Controller at ILS manager Pillar Capital Management in Bermuda for three years.
She also spent over two years working at legacy specialist Armour Group Holdings as Chief Accounting Officer, before which she spent over seven years working in accounting and audit at PwC Bermuda.
