Listed firm DigiPlus Interactive Corp. has solidified its commitment to Brazil’s expanding iGaming sector with the appointment of industry specialist Graham Tidey as its country manager.
According to DigiPlus on Friday, Tidey brings a wealth of experience in navigating the market’s business and regulatory landscape, driving market expansion, and building high-performing teams.
”Brazil represents one of the most significant opportunities in global iGaming, and we are investing in the right people to ensure our success,” DigiPlus Chairman Eusebio Tanco said in a press release.
“Graham Tidey’s expertise in Latin America, proven leadership in regulatory navigation, and track record in driving strategic growth make him the ideal choice to lead our expansion. His appointment reinforces our commitment to building a responsible and innovative presence in this market,” he added.
Tidey’s leadership marks a major step in the company’s strategic expansion in Latin America, which will reinforce the company’s dedication to delivering world-class gaming experiences in this dynamic market, DigiPlus said.
In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange in November of last year, DigiPlus said its wholly owned subsidiary, DigiPlus Brazil Interactive Ltda. passed the qualification stage for a federal license with Brazil’s Ministry of Finance’s Secretariat of Awards and Bets (SPA).
The internet gaming company earlier said the development advances DigiPlus into the final stages of the South American country’s licensing process, “bringing it closer to participation in Brazil’s newly regulated iGaming sector, one of Latin America’s most dynamic and rapidly growing gaming markets.” –Anna Felicia Bajo/ VAL, GMA Integrated News
