Real Madrid bring their tour of the United States to a close at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte. The European champions will pay their first visit to this stadium, which was officially opened in 1996 and has a capacity of almost 75,000.
Its exterior is one of the most recognisable of any stadium in the country, featuring a pair of arches and huge towers just inside the main entrance. Home to the NFL’s Carolina Panthers and, from 2022, to MLS team Charlotte FC.
Four CONCACAF Gold Cups and the recent Copa América
This stadium hosted two of the biggest matches at the recent Copa América: the semi-final between Uruguay and Colombia and the third and fourth-place match between Canada and Uruguay. It has also hosted CONCACAF Gold Cup matches in 2011, 2015, 2019 and 2023.
