Holcim has named Jaime Hill, country chief for Mexico, as new region head of North America with immediate effect, replacing Toufic Tabbara who will pursue other career opportunities.
The Swiss building-materials company said late Tuesday that company-veteran Hill has delivered consistently in his tenure as Mexico chief, overseeing the country growing to become the company’s second-biggest contributor of operating income.
Holcim also appointed Carmen Diaz, country chief of Spain, as its new chief people officer with immediate effect. Diaz is succeeding Feliciano Gonzalez Munoz, who will help smoothen the transition before retiring from Holcim at the end of the year.
Meanwhile, Lukas Studer has been appointed group general counsel, taking over from Mathias Gaertner. Studer is currently general counsel of corporate and M&A.
“All three are highly accomplished business leaders who have driven record performance across our markets,” Holcim Chief Executive Miljan Gutovic said.
