Alabama football remains the No. 4 team in the nation in both the US LBM coaches poll and AP Top 25 poll that were released on Sunday.
It comes after the Crimson Tide’s 42-14 victory over South Florida, scoring 21 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to pull away after struggling to find a rhythm through the first three quarters. Alabama now turns its attention to its first road trip of the season at Wisconsin. It will be the Crimson Tide’s first Power Four opponent of the season.
There are eight SEC teams in the US LBM coaches poll, with Georgia remaining No. 1 after another dominating win over Tennessee Tech. Texas is the only other SEC team ranking above Alabama at No. 3. Ole Miss is right behind Alabama in the No. 5 spot followed by Missouri (No. 7), Tennessee (No. 9), Oklahoma (No. 13) and LSU (No. 17).
In the AP Top 25, Georgia is again No. 1 with Texas coming in at No. 2. Behind Alabama at No. 4, there is Ole Miss (No. 5), Missouri (No. 6), Tennessee (No. 7), Oklahoma (No. 15) and LSU (No. 16).
