During the week of September 23, presidents, ambassadors, and ministers from Latin America and the Caribbean visited Americas Society at 680 Park Avenue for private meetings hosted by AS/COA President and CEO Susan Segal. On the sidelines of the 79th United Nations General Assembly, the leaders met with AS/COA members to discuss investment opportunities, economic themes, and country-specific issues.
“This has been an incredible week, said Segal. “It has been an honor to host nine presidents from Latin American and Caribbean countries at our office in New York. In a highly polarized environment, the Council of the Americas and its members continue to meet with leaders from all sides of the political spectrum to further our commitment to economic development in the Western Hemisphere.”
