Australian metalcore band Void of Vision was supposed to head out on a North American tour in support of their recently released album What I’ll Leave Behind. Sadly, they won’t be able to make it, canceling all of those tour dates because of “unexpected circumstances within our camp.”
The band released a statement on the matter, remaining mildly cryptic but still emphasizing their need for peace at this time.
“To our North American fans & friends, we regret to inform you that Void Of Vision will no longer be performing our upcoming dates throughout this November/December including all headline dates & support dates w/ The Ghost Inside.
“After careful consideration following unexpected circumstances within our camp the past month, we believe the best decision for all involved was to withdraw. Due to the personal nature of this decision, we ask you to respect our privacy at this time.
“We apologize for any inconvenience caused. All ticket purchases f’or our headline dates will be refunded to point of purchase. Thank you for your ongoing support and understanding.”
What I’ll Leave Behind was released on September 20 on UNFD. The band’s coinciding tour dates were meant to start November 15 with an opening date in St. Louis, MO, lasting until mid-December. The Ghost Inside and Orthodox were supporting acts for the North American dates.
Information about rescheduled dates has yet to be given. We hope everything is okay and that they’ll make it through whatever they’re going through. Check out What I’ll Leave Behind single “Neurotic” below, and get the album here.
