For those in the “know,” Anguilla, located near the island of St. Martin’s in the Northeastern Caribbean, is a favorite among travellers looking for a sun-soaked spot that still remains off the radar for many tourists. Rich in pristine, fine sand beaches, aquamarine waters, top-notch accommodation and an outstanding food scene, Anguilla is a small island with big assets. If you’re looking to discover a new favorite winter escape, then take a look at what Anguilla has to offer for 2025.
Renovations and Debuts
With top-tier stays like Aurora Anguilla Resort & Golf Club, Zemi Beach House and Cap Juluca, a Belmond Hotel, the island has no shortage of opulent accommodation options. In 2025, several new ambitious projects will be launched.
Ground has already been broken on a luxury yacht marina and resort in Shoal Bay West, a tranquil and photogenic beach area. A 118-berth marina will house vessels of up to 820 feet, while the luxury hotel (which will also feature a shopping centre) will offer the same kind of world-class experience guests already enjoy when staying at nearby Altamer Villas. Also in the Shoal Bay area, Ani Private Resorts will be bringing bespoke luxury to the all-inclusive experience. Sitting atop a scenic cliff above Little Bay, Ani is an intimate Caribbean escape that will only host a single group of up to 10 people at once. Thoughtfully designed suites are spread across two villas and feature private pools and lavish living areas, as well as a team of 20 staff members to see to guests’ every need, from dining to wellness.
The Savannah Bay Marina and Resort will be built on Anguilla’s southeastern coast, a region that is especially ideal for snorkeling, diving, sailing and more. On top of a luxury hotel and marina, the project will also include upscale residences, townhouses, condos, a yacht club, a port facility, shopping districts and more.

Festivals
Another thing that this friendly, under-touristed island is famous for is its festivals, and 2025 promises to be filled with exciting events and one-of-a-kind get-togethers.
Running from July 21 to August 11, 2025, Anguilla’s Summer Festival heats up the island with colourful pageantry, food, festivities and more. Parties, carnival, races and music across the island help make this one of the Caribbean’s most anticipated events.
World-class music from genres like soca, calypso, reggae and gospel electrifies Anguilla between November 4 and 7, 2025, for the Music Tourism Convention. Join over 200 invited delegates in paradise for networking, workshops and live performances.
Come out in March to chow down on one of the largest seafood festivals in the Caribbean at Festival Del Mar and be sure not to miss the traditional boat race.
Celebrate good food and good friends from April 30 to May 3, 2025 at The Anguilla Culinary Experience (ACE), Anguilla’s only island-wide food and wine festival. The Caribbean’s longest-running independent music festival returns in March for an unforgettable beach party with the 35th annual Moonsplash Music Festival.
Infrastructure and Access
In response to Anguilla’s growing popularity, the construction of a new passenger terminal at Clayton J Lloyd International Airport continues to progress with the expected completion date set for fall 2025. Additionally, Anguilla will begin a new runway extension that will allow the airport to accommodate larger aircraft. In the meantime, accessibility to the island via its nearest neighbor, St. Martin, is being enhanced with a new arrival hall at the Princess Julianna Airport (SXM).
