The private jet charter is ideal for those looking to maximize their vacation.

While taking a private jet is the ultimate experience when it comes to luxury travel, few of us ever get to experience it. But one Caribbean resort is making it possible for many more to experience the allure and convenience of private aviation at a fraction of the price.
Aurora Anguilla Resort & Golf Club recently launched its new Aurora Anguilla Public Air Charter Service, which offers an exclusive private jet experience for guests traveling to and from the resort. For just $3,500 round trip from Westchester airport in New York and $2,500 per person from Fort Lauderdale, visitors can enjoy a seamless travel experience with direct flights to Anguilla from New York or Florida.
It’s worth noting that traveling to Anguilla, especially from the northeast, can be challenging due to the lack of direct flights. Most flights require at least one layover, significantly adding time to your journey. With the direct charter from New York, the trip is under four hours, and you only have to arrive 30 minutes before your boarding time.
So, in just a few hours, travelers can go from their Manhattan apartment to their toes in the sand at Aurora Anguilla. Whether traveling together for family spring break or a romantic getaway, the charter alleviates many typical travel hassles.
Best Jets International operates the charter flights, which are Embraer-170s, with configurations ranging from 30 to 64 seats, depending on the flight and demand. Meanwhile, onboard guests enjoy alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage service, meal service, flight attendants, personal device entertainment, and incredible legroom.
But the allure of Aurora Anguilla is not just about the new charter flights. In December 2021, Aurora Anguilla underwent a multimillion-dollar renovation and was reopened as a Salamander-managed resort. With that reimagination (it was previously CuisinArt Resort), other new amenities for guests launched, such as a hydroponic farm, the only one on the island, that grows hundreds of fresh vegetables, fruits, and herbs daily for a true farm-to-table experience. Guests can tour the farm, including its two greenhouses, with the resort’s agriculture specialist, Rohan. In addition, chefs from Aurora’s various restaurants go to the farm each morning to pick ingredients for the day’s meals.
Additionally, the resort recently opened its nine-hole short course, Avalon Links, a world-class short course designed by Greg Norman Course Design with stunning views of Rendezvous Bay. All of these changes and additions are part of Schulze’s vision for the property to offer a world-class experience to its guests. This comes after the April 2022 opening of the island’s only 18-hole Championship Golf Course.
The new travel option offers guests a seamless and comfortable experience with direct charter flights that depart from Westchester County Airport in New York and arrive in Anguilla at Clayton J. Lloyd International Airport. There are two direct flights per week on Thursdays and Sundays. Additionally, the resort will launch Friday-Monday pattern flights from Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport. The flights are currently only available to guests of Aurora Anguilla, but the resort is considering expanding its availability in the future.
