Argentina are 7/4 favourites to win Copa America, while Liverpool forward Darwin Nunez is 3/1 to be crowned the tournament’s top scorer

Sky Bet are offering 7/4 odds on Argentina to retain their Copa America title this Summer, while the betting firm have also picked Darwin Nunez as one of their favourites to win the Golden Boot at the tournament. 

Argentina got their 2024 Copa America campaign off to a solid start on Friday, sealing a 2-0 victory against Canada in their opening fixture, before besting Chile 1-0 earlier on Wendesday to go top of Group A. 

Brazil, meanwhile, are the second favourites to win the tournament, with Sky Bet offering odds of 5/2 on the five-time World Cup winners to seal victory. 

Lautaro Martinez has scored twice across both of those opening fixtures for Argentina and currently heads up Sky Bet’s favourites to be crowned the tournament’s top scorer this summer at 7/4.

Darwin Nunez sits second at 3/1 and while he has endured a difficult season in front of goal for Liverpool, he comes into this summer’s tournament having scored a hat-trick of goals in Uruguay’s warm-up match against Mexico, before netting again in their opening group-stage match against Panama. 

Behind him, Sky Bet are offering 11/2 odds on Argentina star Lionel Messi to clinch the Golden Boot, while Real Madrid’s Vinicius Jnr is 11/2.
