Art the Clown actor talks villain role in ‘Terrifier 3’
David Howard Thornton, the actor who plays Art the Clown in ‘Terrifier 3’ talks to USA TODAY about what it means to be a symbol of Halloween.
“Terrifier 3” apparently has such intense depictions of violence that it was released as unrated and has become the first horror movie France has banned minors from seeing since “Saw III” in 2006, according to Bloody Disgusting.
So of course, fans are curious when they can watch the film that has caused 11 people to walk out and one to even vomit during a UK showing.
Directed and written by Damien Leone, “Terrifier 3” is about Sienna and her brother struggling to rebuild their lives after Art the Clown’s Halloween massacre. They try to get in the Christmas spirit but Art returns with more terror.

How old do you have to be to watch ‘Terrifier 3’?
Although unrated in the United States, certain theaters will have age restrictions for how old you must be to watch “Terrifier 3.”
For example, AMC is requiring that guests under 17 be accompanied by a guardian 21 years of age or older. You should be prepared to show your ID at the theater.

How long will ‘Terrifier 3’ be in theaters?
“Terrifier 3” was released in theaters nationwide on Friday, Oct. 11, and was expected to have a full theatrical debut. This means you can expect it to be in theaters for a few more weeks, at least through Halloween.
When will ‘Terrifier 3’ be streaming?
There is no confirmed date for when “Terrifier 3” will be on streaming. If the movie follows previous trends, then it’s likely to be available as a Premium Video on Demand (PVOD) around early to mid-November.
It will probably make its streaming debut on ScreamBox, a horror-themed streaming service owned by Cineverse — also the “Terrifier” series distributor. “Terrifier 2” made it to the platform on Oct. 31, 2022.
‘Terrifier 4’ release date
Writer and director Leone did confirm that there will be a “Terrifier 4” during a Q&A at Fantastic Fest last month, according to Variety.
