The Little League World Series, the worldwide baseball tournament for 12-year-old athletes, is about to begin in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
Players from all sections of the United States and several other countries will compete for the 2024 Little League Baseball World Series (LLBWS) title from Aug. 14-25.

When does Illinois play in the 2024 Little League World Series?
Among the 10 U.S. entries is a Great Lakes region champion from Hinsdale, Illinois, consisting of 12 boys and three coaches. They begin play 12 p.m. Friday against the winner of Game 2, New England or West.
How to watch the 2024 Little League World Series
The best place is visiting Williamsport and South Williamsport, Pennsylvania, during the tournament to watch the games live at Lamade Stadium and Volunteer Stadium. If you can’t make the trip, then you can watch the games on the ESPN family of networks (ESPN, ESPN2, ABC), stream the games on ESPN+ and on the ESPN App.

When does the Little League World Series start?
The 2024 Little League Baseball World Series starts on Wednesday, Aug. 14 with game 1 of the tournament (an international bracket game featuring Caribbean vs. Mexico at 12 p.m. CT). The tournament finishes on Sunday, Aug. 25 with the championship game between the U.S. bracket champion and the International bracket champion.

What is the age of Little League World Series players?
According to Little League, players on LLBWS rosters can be ages 10, 11, or 12 for the Little League Division (also known as the Major Division). For the Little League World Series, team rosters can be anywhere from 12 to 15 players.
