Pull out your magnifying glasses and caution tape. When we say there’s a cruise for everyone, from music lovers to Trekkies and sports fans, we mean it, and one themed sailing is capitalizing on the United States’ latest obsession: true crime.
Organized by theme cruise company Sixthman and the Exhibit C true crime division of podcast network Wondery, the “A True Crime Cruise” voyage is scheduled to sail from Miami to the Bahamas from Jan. 26-30, 2026. It will offer fans of the dark and almost-too-crazy-to-be-true genre a chance to hobnob with “America’s Most Wanted” co-hosts John and Callahan Walsh, as well as the hosts of a number of popular true crime podcasts, including “RedHanded,” “Scamfluencers,” “The Generation Why,” “Kill List,” “Hollywood & Crime” and “Law & Crime.”
Passengers interested in improving their own supersleuth abilities can attend seminars led by experts in body language, blood spatter analysis, forensic psychology, criminal profiling, crime scene analysis and genetic genealogy and chat with crime reporters and former Los Angeles Police Department detectives.
But it doesn’t stop there. The four-night cruise on Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norwegian Joy, calling on Nassau in the Bahamas, will feature panels led by the Walshes and podcast hosts, true crime trivia, murder mystery games, immersive crime-solving activities, self-defense classes, a true crime pub crawl, photo opportunities and other themed offerings.
