The Bahamas Tourist Office London is launching The Bahamas Travel Agents Rewards platform to support UK travel agents.
Created in association with MyBookingRewards.com (MBR), agents can now boost earnings with cash rewards when they log bookings made across the more than 100 properties.
Now live and open to travel professionals across the UK and Channel Islands, rewards are available on actualised bookings logged via the online platform.
Bookings for properties on Grand Bahama Island and the Out Islands will receive rewards of £20 on each qualifying booking.
Bookings must consist of a minimum four-night stay for two adults to be eligible.
This reward incrementally increases for bookings of multiple rooms up to a maximum rewards amount of £100 for up to 5 rooms.
Bookings for properties on Nassau and Paradise Island provide rewards of up to £10 on each qualifying booking.
Bookings in this case are valid with a minimum stay of six-nights and based on two adults.
Again, agents can incrementally increase the rewards amount up to £50 when they book multiple rooms up to a maximum of five rooms
Travel agents can further increase their chances to earn via the Nassau Paradise Island Rewards programme.
All valid Bahamas bookings that qualify for both rewards programmes will be automatically logged with both.
Travel agents are encouraged to register at www.bahamastravelagentsrewards.com to start earning immediately.
All Bahamas bookings made from 16 September 2024 are valid when they fit the above rewards criteria, and all bookings can be logged up to 21 days after the client check-in date.
“Our partnership with the travel agent community in the UK has been key to the steady growth of tourism from the UK to The Islands of The Bahamas,” said the Hon. I. Chester Cooper, Bahamas Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Investments & Aviation.
“We aim to deepen our relationship with UK travel professionals by making it easier and more rewarding.”
Darren Pearson, CEO, My Booking Rewards, added: “We are delighted to welcome The Bahamas Tourist Office London into the MBR family, this is an important move for them and one that I know will allow them to engage with, and reward, many more agents.”
