(WTVY) – Former Alabama beauty queen Lindsay Shiver, accused of plotting her husband’s murder, is back in a Bahamian jail, according to reports.
On Friday, a judge revoked Shiver and her alleged boyfriend’s bail after they appeared on Good Morning America and Inside Edition ahead of their trial.
Judge Cheryl Grant-Thompson said the footage of Shiver on GMA breached the Bahama’s strict restrictions on pre-trial publicity.
The Good Morning America segment focused on Shiver’s lover Adrien Bethel and his claims of innocence.
While Shiver was not interviewed on Good Morning America, new footage of her alongside Bethel appeared in the segment.
Shiver was also accused of failing to adhere to her bail conditions. The Nassau Guardian reports Shiver moved her designated address at her parents’ Alabama home without court approval.
Both Shiver and Bethel are being held in Fox Hill Prison in the Bahamas, and their trials are set for March 2025.
As for the alleged hitman Faron Newbold Jr., he remains free on bail.
