Bermuda’s junior tennis team bowed out of the BJKCJ DCJ North/Central America & Caribbean pre-qualifying junior Davis Cup in Guatemala City after a 3-0 defeat to the Bahamas in the 9-16 play-off match.
Tristan Pettit faced a tough challenge in the opening singles match, falling to Aiden Ritchie in straight sets, 6-0, 6-3.
Tobiah Goodchild was next on court, taking on Patrick Mactaggart. Despite his best efforts, Goodchild also lost in straight sets, 6-2, 6-0.
In the doubles match, Goodchild and Pettit teamed up to face Alec Hooper and Mactaggart. The Bermudian duo put up a fight but ultimately lost in straight sets, 6-4, 6-1.
