Nina Dobrev and Shaun White are enjoying their Barbados vacation to the fullest!
The five-time Olympian, 37, shared an inside look at the pair’s island getaway in an Instagram post on Thursday, Aug. 22. White included a carousel of photos and videos from their vacation, which featured scenes of Dobrev dancing to some live music nearly three months after her dirt bike accident that left her seriously injured.
In the short clip, the Vampire Diaries alum, 35, dances over to her boyfriend, who cheers her on as he records. “Welcome to Barbados,” a voice can be heard saying as Dobrev sways to the drumming in the background.

The couple, who jetted off to the island to celebrate White’s mom’s birthday, also enjoyed a number of other fun-filled activities together.
One video shows the retired snowboarder rocking a red swimsuit as he stands on a boat. He waves to the camera and says “bye” before doing a backflip into the turquoise water.

Following in her son’s footsteps, White’s mom then appears to do a cannonball off the boat in a different slide.
The three-time Olympic gold medalist also shared some snaps of him giving his mom a big hug, followed by the mother-son duo sharing a drink on the boat with Dobrev.
Earlier in August, Dobrev shared an update with PEOPLE on how she’s been feeling after the May accident that left her needing surgery due to a torn ACL, meniscus and fractured tibial plateau.
“I think I’m doing pretty well,” she said at the time, adding that doctors “were pretty surprised” at how fast she was recovering. “I’m a little ahead of schedule in terms of healing, but it is still a very long process.”
She continued, “There’s still a ways to go. And a lot of times at this point in the healing process, people get re-injured because they feel fine. And so they start doing normal things. So I have to kind of remind myself that I’m still healing and there’s still a little bit of time to go.”

Earlier this summer, White expressed his admiration for his girlfriend of more than four years and commended her on how she’s handling her recovery.
“She’s such a trooper. I mean, she really took her recovery so seriously,” he told PEOPLE. “She’s icing, she’s taking peptides, she’s doing this everyday therapy. She’s honestly more diligent than I was even while I was competing. So she’s bounced back really quickly.”
