CHARLOTTE – The Panthers added some defensive line depth before practice Saturday, bringing back a familiar face.
The team signed defensive tackle Jayden Peevy Saturday, and he’ll be on the practice field today.
He was on the Panthers practice squad last season and was in camp with the Browns earlier this offseason. The Texas A&M product also spent time with the Titans, appearing in two games.
There was no corresponding move since the roster was at 89 after waiver-claim Caden Sterns was released Thursday. Rookie defensive end Jaden Crumedy left Thursday’s game with an ankle injury and did not return.
