Everest Insurance, the insurance division of Bermuda-based re/insurer Everest Group, has appointed HDI Global’s Nuno Antunes as Global Head of Multinational Services, and Ning Xu as Manager, Multinational Network Partners.
A renowned veteran across the sector, Antunes joins the organisation with over 20 years of industry experience.
Most recently he held the role of Iberia Head of Client Strategy and Portugal Country Manager, at HDI Global SE.
Prior to that, he worked at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS), where he served as the firm’s Managing Director for Iberia and Latin America.
However, prior to AGCS, Antunes spent 13 years at American International Group (AIG), where he served in a variety of different roles.
He joined the firm in 2007, taking on the role of Financial Lines Manager, for the firm’s Portugal headquarters. Then in 2010, he would get promoted to Country Manager, Country CEO for Portugal.
In his final role at AIG, Antunes served as Senior Vice President – EMEA/UK, Head of Multinational and Captive Fronting, where he managed a team of 200+ colleagues in more than 20 countries.
Meanwhile, Xu has been with Everest Insurance since April, joining the firm as Vice President, North America Multinational Services Leader.
Prior to joining Everest, she spent over 16 years working at Globex International Group, the international risk management, insurance and employee benefits consultancy firm, where she gained valuable experience across the industry.
She joined the organisation 2007, taking on the role of Assistant Vice President and Operations Manager. After seven years of service in that role, she would become Director and Vice President in 2014.
Then between June 2018 – March 2024, Xu would serve as a Managing Director at Globex, before joining Everest Insurance earlier this year.
