Bermuda-based reinsurer PartnerRe has announced the appointment of Ruth Damian as Senior Client Partner for North America Life Financial Solutions.
Damian brings over 25 years of industry experience, specialising in managing domestic and international reinsurance agreements with major life insurers and reinsurers.
She joins PartnerRe from SCOR, where she most recently served as Assistant Vice President – Financial Solutions.
Prior to that, Damian served as Structured Reinsurance Finance Lead at Brighthouse Financial. She also held senior roles at MetLife and Reinsurance Group of America.
Mike Green, Head of Business Development, North America Life Financial Solutions, expressed enthusiasm for Damian’s appointment, stating, “I am excited to have Ruth join our Financial Solutions team as our new Senior Client Partner.
“With over 20 years of experience in both direct and reinsurance companies, Ruth will be instrumental in crafting tailored solutions for our clients and strengthening our client relationships.”
