Already eliminated Bolivia will look to end their CONMEOL Copa América 2021 on a high as they face current group leaders Argentina who play to defend their top spot.

La Verde hope to make a statement in Cuiabá but they will find it difficult. Argentina have beaten 11 times in their 15 games against Bolivia at the CONMEOL Copa América. Bolivia have taken the win on two occasions (1963 and 1979) both on home soil in La Paz.

Argentine superstar Lionel Messi is expected to start and he will become the player with the most national team appearances for the albiceleste as he reaches 148 games.

-History-

Bolivia and Argentina will meet for the tenth time at the CONMEBOL Copa América on nuetral ground. Argentina are unbeaten (9 wins, 1 draw). Bolivia have only beaten Argentina twice in the competition, both when they had home advantage (1963 and 1979).
Lionel Scaloni is unbeaten in his last 16 games in all competitions as Argentina boss (9 wins, 7 draws). His side hasn’t lost since a 2-0 defeat in the semi final of the 2019 CONMEBOL Copa América.
After a run of 5 games undedeated games in the CONMEBOL Copa América as Venezuela manager, César Farís has since suffered 4 consecutive defeats. One of those defeats came in charge of Venezuela (2011 semifinal against Peru) and the rest with Bolivia in this year’s edition.
Amongst the goalkeepers who have played at least one game at the current CONMEBOL Copa América, none have made more saves per game than Carlos Lampe of Bolivia (8).
As well as scoring 100% of the goals in the first half of games (3, the most alongside Ecuador), Argentina is also the team that has scored the most goals in the first 15 minutes of games (2).
