Neymar has collected 29 trophies throughout his impressive career, including a Champions League title with Barcelona, but has he ever won the Copa America?
The 2024 Copa America is almost here, and unsurprisingly, Argentina and Brazil are the two favorites to take home the coveted trophy. The tournament, hosted by the United States, highlights the best South American soccer players in the world, and a great deal of them are either Argentinian or Brazilian.
Brazil, in particular, have an exciting team of young superstars and veterans, including Vinicius Junior, Casemiro, and Alisson, that can surely make a run in the upcoming competition. Unfortunately, the side will be without Neymar, who suffered a knee injury back in October that will keep him out of the action this summer.
Although Neymar will not be able to add a potential 2024 Copa America title to his long list of accolades, he has had multiple opportunities to win the historic tournament in years past.

No, Neymar has never won the Copa America. Brazil won the tournament back in 2019, but Neymar could not participate due to injury.
The 2021 Copa America was the closest Neymar came to winning the competition. Brazil met Argentina in the final, but could not beat the Lionel Messi-led side. Argentina notched their 15th Copa America title after besting Brazil 1-0 in 90 minutes.
Despite Brazil’s loss, Neymar still received the Copa America Best Player award, a title he shared with Messi. Neymar finished the tournament with two goals, three assists, and a second-place finish.
Even though Neymar cannot rectify his 2021 loss in the upcoming Copa America tournament, Brazil still have a great chance of making their third Copa America final in a row. Depending on Neymar’s health, the 32-year-old might only have one more opportunity to secure a Copa America victory in 2028.
