Shimano Latin America has donated 12 balance bikes to Associação Pedala Queimados* last October, and now it has spurred a series of monthly events throughout 2024, aimed at promoting cycling among young children in Queimados, a town in Rio de Janeiro. The initiative began with an event for children aged 2 to 8, offering snacks and a fun bike ride. Shimano’s
support reflects their belief in the positive impact these activities will have on the children of Queimados, with the goal of providing educational and enjoyable experiences that introduce the joys of cycling and potentially improve the children’s lives.
