When did Oasis last play North America? Band confirm 2025 gigs in US, Canada and Mexico

Oasis have confirmed they will take their Live ‘25 tour to the US, Canada and Mexico next summer – and that fans will not be subject to controversial dynamic pricing.

After teasing fans with billboards around North American cities reading ‘Be careful what you wish for’ as well as the Spanish translation, the Gallaghers confirmed plans on Monday afternoon.

A statement read: “America. Oasis is coming. You have one last chance to prove that you loved us all along. Oasis will tour North America in 2025!”

A Spanish statement translated as: “People of Mexico, prepare yourselves. The Brothers are on their way.”

The trip across the pond will follow the 19 dates the band are playing in the UK and Ireland, which sold out on August 31.

Fans were subject to long waits and Ticketmaster’s dynamic pricing model, which saw some paying more than they had bargained for.

Oasis released a statement to say that this would “not be applied” this time around.

This read: “It is widely accepted that dynamic pricing remains a useful tool to combat ticket touting and keep prices for a significant proportion of fans lower than the market rate and thus more affordable.

“But, when unprecedented ticket demand (where the entire tour could be sold many times over at the moment tickets go on sale) is combined with technology that cannot cope with that demand, it becomes less effective and can lead to an unacceptable experience for fans.”

When did Oasis last play in North America?

The band previously played in 2008 when they toured Dig Out Your Soul – their most recent album.

On that occasion, they played in Fairfax, Camden, New York, London Ontario, Auburn Hills, Rosemont, Minneapolis, Broomfield, Las Vegas, Oakland, Monterrey, Guadalajara, and Mexico City.

They are best known Stateside for their Definitely Maybe Tour, which saw the band put on a calamitous show at Whisky a Go Go in California in September 1994.

This led to Noel Gallagher leaving the band for several days and walking off. He was eventually found by the management and persuaded to continue.
