Porsche Carrera Cup North American Practice at Sebring
Round 9 of the championship will take place during the Porsche SportsCar Together Festival on Saturday, September 11 with Rounds 10 and 11 as the headline events of the gathering of Porsche enthusiasts on Sunday, September 12. Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta will play host to Rounds 14 and 15 on Thursday, November 11 and the season-finale on Friday, November 12. Three champions – one each for the Pro, Pro-Am and Pro-Am 991 classes – will be crowned November 12.

However, working closely with IMSA, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, we believe we have given our competitors not only a full-season but also a dramatic stage on which the championship will be decided. No one could ask for more dramatic or more iconic venues to crown the inaugural champions of the Porsche Carrera Cup North America Presented by the Cayman Islands than Road America, three races at Indy, two at VIRginia International Raceway and what I expect will be a no-holds-barred battle for the title in three rounds at our home track in Atlanta.”

Porsche Carrera Cup North America by the Cayman Islands is the premier one-make race series in the United States and Canada utilizing a combination of the latest Porsche 911 GT3 Cup race car, type 992, and MICHELIN® Pilot® Sport Cup N3 racing slick to challenge the best road and street race courses on the continent. As with all national Carrera Cups worldwide, the inaugural season of the championship is scheduled to host 16-rounds.
