Colombia are international football’s in-form side and they topped Group D ahead of Brazil. They had earlier defeated both Paraguay and Costa Rica, accumulating seven points from a possible nine.
Panama surely need no introduction. They lost their opening match 3-1 to Uruguay but then stunned the USMNT with a late 2-1 victory, before holding their nerve in their final group game to overcome Bolivia 3-1, finishing second.
