Olympics 2024: Gabby Thomas wins a gold medal in the 200m race, Cole Hocker wins gold in 1500m

The United States and China are battling it out for the most gold medals at the Paris Olympics.

And as of this post on Tuesday morning, both countries are tied with 21 gold medals.

The Americans are crushing the rest of the field with 79 total medals. The team also has 30 silver medals and 28 bronze medals to its tally.
