Who and where: Mike and Becky Springston of Sparta taking a Coco Taxi from the Nacional back to the Hotel Grand Aston in Cuba.
The trip: They spent eight days in Cuba on an educational tour of Havana and Vinales that included a visit to a paper recycling business, a tobacco farm, an organic farm, a cooking school as well as historic sites.
Travel tip: Cuba is undergoing a change. Be patient, keep your expectations in check and just immerse yourself in this beautiful country and its people who have shown ingenuity and hope.
