Havana, Sep 6 (PL) Cuban javelin thrower Ulicer Aguilera, bronze medalist in the F13 category (visually impaired) at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, praised the dedication of the national delegation.
“The Cuban representation gives its all and you can see it in the results and performances of its exponents in France,” Aguilera told Prensa Latina.

In qualifying the event he said: “The British winner Daniel Pembroke (74.49 meters) broke the world record, the Iranian Ali Pirouj (64.30) made his lifetime best and in my case I achieved a personal best of 62.51 and broke the American mark.”Â
According to the Cuban, he did not run the sprints and only took five steps in the event because he injured a muscle in his left leg eight days ago.
“Cuban Paralympic sport has athletes with disabilities who are warriors, the same disability leads them to demonstrate that there are no limitations to obtain results and achieve great achievements,” he said.
