The second major US airline in Dominica
When its new service launches in February next year, United Airlines will become the second major US carrier to fly to Dominica. American Airlines already connects the island twice per week to its hub at Miami International Airport (MIA), with flights operated by its regional subsidiary, American Eagle.
The rest of Douglas-Charles Airport’s routes are to destinations around the Caribbean, including:
Barbados (BGI) – Caribbean Airlines, Liat20, Winair Antigua (ANU) – Caribbean Airlines, Liat20, Sunrise Airways, Winair Saint Kitts (SKB) – Liat20, Sunrise Airways San Juan (SJU) – Silver Airways Fort-de-France (FDF) – Winair.

United Airlines’ new route from Newark to Dominica will provide better connections for travelers from the US and open up a world of one-stop connections for those coming from Dominica via the carrier’s immense hub at the New Jersey airport.
