Wooldy Edson Louidor has been appointed as the new ambassador of Haiti to the Dominican Republic.
The Zilé Foundation on the “X” network “[…] welcomes the appointment of Wooldy Edson Louidor, researcher and professor at the Pontifical Javeriana University, a prominent member of the Haitian diaspora in Colombia, as the new ambassador to the Dominican Republic. An expert in immigration who has much to contribute in this sensitive area.”
Wooldy Edson Louidor will be assisted by Christine Lamothe who is the Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of Haiti in the Dominican Republic.
Wooldy Edson Louidor is a Haitian-Colombian researcher, graduated in Philosophy and Social Sciences, holds a Master’s degree in Latin American Philosophy and a Doctor of Philology. He specializes in “migration studies, from an interdisciplinary perspective.” In addition, he has conducted research on Haitian, Colombian and Venezuelan migration “virtually throughout the American continent, mainly in the Dominican Republic and South America.”
