A lot of the hopes of Ecuador at the Copa America are relying on players who come from Stamford Bridge.
Kendry Paez is set to join the club in a year’s time, and despite being just 17 is already a key member of the starting side.
However, a lot of their hopes are pinned on Moises Caicedo, who came into the tournament off the back of a real upturn in form in the Premier League.
All the excitement that surrounded their opening game at the Copa America went up in smoke though, after captain Enner Valencia was sent off in the first half.
Despite the fact Ecuador took the lead, they were defeated 2-1 by Venezuela.

This was clearly tough for the Chelsea man to take, with El Futbolero reporting how he instantly reacted to the loss.
They said that he dropped to his knees in the middle of the pitch after the final whistle, clearly gutted at how things had played out.
Despite the fact their dreams of winning the tournament are not over, it would now be some achievement to even get to the knockout stages.
Enzo Fernandez not yet playing for Argentina
Enzo Fernandez’s Argentina made it a perfect start to the tournament with a win, however he was nowhere to be seen in the starting side.
The midfielder was facing a race against time to be fit for the competition as a whole after undergoing surgery at the end of last season, which saw him miss a number of games late in the season.
In this time, Caicedo became the top midfielder for the club, with the pairing he formed with Conor Gallagher being very important for them qualifying for European football for next season.
It remains to be seen if he can replicate this form alongside Fernandez when the pair start things off next season.
