The study, conducted by ServiceValue GmbH and the FAZ Institute, evaluated 5,500 companies across 38 industries based on their efforts in re-use, recycling and repair.
SÜDPACK’s performance was recognised with a perfect score of 100 points.
“We set new standards with our recyclable and material-reduced product developments and point the way to a sustainable future,” said Erik Bouts, CEO of SÜDPACK.
“The same goes for our policy of expanding capacities and technologies for compounding, regranulation and chemical recycling. But a genuine transformation can only happen if industry, politics, legislation and society take the next steps jointly.”
SÜDPACK’s commitment to sustainability is evident in its product development, material management and recycling initiatives.
The company has developed recyclable and material-reduced packaging solutions, invested in advanced recycling technologies and established partnerships to promote a circular economy.
One of SÜDPACK’s key initiatives is its involvement in carboliq GmbH, a company that specialises in the chemical recycling of plastic waste.
Through carboliq’s innovative process, mixed and contaminated plastics can be transformed into a valuable liquid resource, further contributing to a circular economy.
