An unusually high number of great white sharks are being found dead, washed up on North American beaches, according to a report from the New York Times.
Surfer.com reports that nine of the massive predators have been found washed up on beaches in the United States and Canada since 2023. None of the dead animals showed any outward signs of injuries, and most were found with full stomachs, ruling out starvation.
