On the second day of his trip, U.S. content creator Darren Watkins Jr., better known by his online persona, visited Antigua Guatemala. There, he performed a daring backflip on the edge of a sculpture, which appeared to be perched near the edge of a cliff. Speed shared the video of him performing the stunt on his official page. In the video, he said, “Okay this is very dangerous, I am about to do a backflip off The Hand of God. If I fall, it’s over with”.
Taking a small breath, Speed backflips almost smoothly with just a minor slip. As he completes the stunt, he yells, “Let’s go, let’s go!” It was only last year that Speed tried to create a record for the most reverse somersaults completed in one day. However, he fell short by a few and finished 660 in roughly 19 hours.

IShowSpeed’s video managed to receive more than 60 million views in just about 19 hours of posting. The video has about 4 million likes and 26k comments on it. A few users cautioned Speed on doing such dangerous stunts, they wrote, “I’m happy you landed but that wasn’t smart. One wrong move n we woulda lost you bro.” Another wrote that such videos might inspire other creators to do such dangerous things. They commented, “Now this will only promote other stupid creators to risk their lives for views.”

However, this is not out of character for Speed, he is known to do reckless things. Just last year in July, Speed was mobbed by his followers, while he was live streaming in Norway and giving a tour of the Scandinavian country. Following the commotion, Speed had to take refuge in a Bookstore where he was stuck for hours. In various videos that went viral, Speed can be seen carried by bodyguards to his car, amidst the crowd of his followers. Traumatised from his experience, Speed swore that he would not return to Norway ever again.
