Santo Domingo.- President Luis Abinader will travel to the United States tomorrow, Tuesday, for a series of engagements in New York and Washington, D.C. His trip includes a meeting with Luis Almagro, Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS).
The President will depart on a commercial flight from Las Américas International Airport in the afternoon. In New York, he will participate in the Conference on Investment Infrastructure in Latin America and the Caribbean on Wednesday. Later, he will travel to Washington, D.C., to speak at the 27th Annual Conference of the Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean (CAF) at the OAS headquarters.
During his visit, President Abinader is expected to discuss the crisis in Haiti and its implications for the Dominican Republic. He is scheduled to return to the country on Thursday evening.
