The venues will be the company’s first in the two countries.
“Latin America has been integral to Starbucks business since our founding in 1971,” says Brady Brewer, CEO of Starbucks International.
“Over half of the coffee Starbucks sources worldwide each year comes from the region, and we are proud to continue bringing the Starbucks Experience to more people, in more places, in celebration of the region’s rich coffee heritage.”
Starbucks currently operates in 26 markets in the Latin America and Caribbean region and 88 globally. The company had steadily grown in the area, with 1600 stores employing more than 22,000 members of staff.
The Ecuador store is due to open in July, while the Honduras location is expected later in 2024. The stores will be launched in partnership with Delonorte S.A.
