Upcoming deejay Eshconinco continues his foray into the lucrative Latin American market with the release of a 25-song mixtape next month.
Titled
Elevation & Prosperity, the project features songs by a number of producers, includingRide Pon Di Bicycle, co-produced by Panamanian Kirk Klypps Romana Salinas (known as El Codig o Kirkao) and Kingston-based Tuff Chin Records.
A video filmed in Panama, has been released to push song and mixtape.
“Trust mi, this video a go shot. This video will also show how hot dancehall is in the streets as far as Jamaica and other different countries across the globe,” said Eshconinco.
Born Jevaughn Mythen in Kingston, Eshconinco has been recording for two years. He concentrates on the Latin American region where dancehall has a growing following.
He has performed in Panama, Colombia, Venezuela, Chile, and Costa Rica.
“The love in Panama and other Latin American countries are really from diehard fans. The response from all those countries is extremely overwhelming,” he said.
To promote Elevate & Prosperity, Eshconinco has dates confirmed for Costa Rica, Chile and Colombia in October.
