As part of their dream getaway to the City of Lights, Scotiabank’s Pursuit to Paris winners Antonio Curtis and his son Alijah, along with Howard and Petula Senior, had the privilege of exploring the world-renowned Louvre Museum and the memorable Eiffel Tower.
The iconic glass pyramid entrance beckoned them into a world of artistic and cultural treasures at the Louvre. As they wandered through the grand galleries they marvelled at the enigmatic smile of the Mona Lisa, the majestic Venus de Milo, and the ancient Egyptian antiquities. The group’s eyes widened in awe, taking in the masterpieces on display, each one a testament to human creativity and ingenuity.
But the Parisian adventure didn’t stop there. The winners then made their way to the iron lady of Paris, the Eiffel Tower. As they ascended to the top, the City of Lights unfolded before them, a breathtaking panorama of historic landmarks, charming streets, and picturesque bridges. The group was mesmerised by the tower’s sheer scale and beauty, its latticework design.
“The view from the top is simply stunning,” said Howard Senior. “We can see the entire city spread out before us. It’s a truly unforgettable experience.”
The experience also left an indelible mark on Antonio Curtis, “This Parisian adventure was truly a journey through time. Thank you, Scotiabank!” said Curtis.
