Heart of Midlothian will be represented by seven players on the international stage this month.
Members of the Jambos squad are jetting off around the world on Nations League, World Cup qualifying, and Concacaf Nations League business.

LAWRENCE SHANKLAND AND ZANDER CLARK – SCOTLAND
Scotland v Poland – Thursday, September 5 – UEFA Nations League – Kick-off 7:45pm
Portugal v Scotland – Sunday, September 8 – UEFA Nations League – Kick-off 7:45pm
Following this summer’s EURO 2024 tournament, Scotland begin their new UEFA Nations League campaign tomorrow when they welcome Michał Probierz and his Poland team to Hampden Park.
Steve Clarke’s men sit in League A Group 1 and will also face Portugal in Lisbon at the Estádio da Luz on Sunday 8 September, with the national team also pencilled in to face Croatia later in the year.
Zander Clark sits on 4 caps for Scotland, with Lawrence Shankland also looking to add to his 14 caps and three goals in a dark blue jersey.
KYE ROWLES AND CAMMY DEVLIN – AUSTRALIA
Australia v Bahrain – Thursday, September 5 – World Cup Qualifiers – Kick-off 11am (Local time)
Indonesia v Australia – Tuesday, September 10 – World Cup Qualifiers – Kick-off 1pm (Local time)
Meanwhile down under, Kye Rowles and Cammy Devlin have returned to their homeland with the third round of FIFA World Cup qualifying set to begin for the Socceroos.
Graham Arnold’s side blitzed through second round qualifying, taking maximum points, and enter Group C in the third round where they’ll face Japan, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, China, and Indonesia.
The Aussies begin the new campaign with a home match against Bahrain in Kye Rowles’ native Gold Coast tomorrow, before they travel to the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta to face Indonesia on Tuesday 10th September.
Kye sits on 21 caps and one goal for the Socceroos, whilst Cammy looks to add to his four caps.
KENNETH VARGAS AND GERALD TAYLOR – COSTA RICA
Costa Rica v Guadeloupe – Friday, September 6 – CONCACAF Nations League – Kick-off 1:00am (UK)
Guatemala v Costa Rica – Tuesday September 10 – CONCACAF Nations League – Kick-off 3.00am (UK)
Kenneth and Gerald return to Central America this international break as Costa Rica looks to put this summer’s Copa America disappointment behind them.
They begin their CONCACAF Nations League schedule with a home match against Guadeloupe on Friday 6th September, before travelling to play Guatemala at the Estadio Doroteo Guamuch Flores on Tuesday 10th September.
Los Ticos sit in League A Group A, and will also face Guyana, Martinique, and Suriname over the course of their qualifying campaign.
Kenneth sits on six caps, whilst Gerald Taylor has 7.
LEWIS NEILSON – SCOTLAND UNDER-21s
Scotland Under-21s v Spain Under-21s – Friday, September 6 – UEFA Under-21 European Championships Qualifying – Kickoff 7pm
Malta Under-21s v Scotland Under-21s – Tuesday, September 10 – UEFA Under-21 European Championships Qualifying – Kick-off 5:30pm
On loan at St. Johnstone this campaign, Lewis Neilson returns to Gorgie on Friday as Tynecastle Park plays host to the Scotland U21s as their quest to qualify for the 2025 Euros continues.
The nine qualification group winners along with the three best-placed group runners-ups will qualify automatically for next year’s finals in Slovakia, with the remaining six group runners-up entering into play-offs for the final three places.
Scot Gemmill’s side currently sit in third place among the best-placed group runners up with four matches left of the qualification campaign.
The Young Scots face first placed Spain at Tynecastle, before travelling to Malta on Tuesday.
