Metallica is set to embark on the North American leg of their M72 World tour from April 12, 2025, to June 29, 2025, in venues across the mainland United States and Canada. The band announced the tour back in September 2024 with two-night tickets for Toronto, Nashville, Philadelphia, Tampa, Santa Clara, and Denver.
Now, however, the band has announced new single-night tickets for these days. The nights will have different supporting acts, with one seeing Limp Bizkit and Ice Nine Kills, while the other night will feature Pantera and Suicidal Tendencies.
These tickets will be available from the band’s official website or via Ticketmaster. Presale starts on January 13, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time. A Live Nation presale will follow on January 15, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time. The Live Nation presale can be accessed with the code OCTAVE. General on sale will follow on January 17, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time.

Metallica’s M72 Australia tour will feature supporting performances by Evanescence and Suicidal Tendencies. Metallica’s M72 tour is in support of their album 72 Seasons, which was released on April 13, 2023. The album was released via the band’s record label, Blackend Recordings, and is their eleventh studio album overall. It consists of 12 tracks running at 77:14.
