COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – After slowly weakening over the weekend due to the mountainous terrain of Central America, Sara has dissipated into a remnant area of low pressure.
WIS(WIS)
With Sara becoming a remnant system, there will no longer be advisories issued by the National Hurricane Center. The moisture from Sara is set to drift through the Gulf of Mexico.
WIS(WIS)
The parent low of our next cold front will absorb some of this remnant moisture Tuesday and Wednesday. Due to the track of this parent low, most of this moisture will stay confined to Florida and the Deep South.
