Have you ever heard about a witch turning into a monkey and troubling people? One such incident has gone viral in Central America.

A bizarre incident is shared among the people living in a small village in Nicaragua, where they state that supernatural events are occurring in the village. A monkey witch is haunting the residents in that area with its screams.

The residents of Diriamba added that they are troubled by the Mona Bruja which is a witch and it transforms itself into a red-eyed monkey, runs on rooftops and haunts people by its long screams.

People living in the Roberto Clemente neighbourhood suspect that this folkloric figure has made their area its home. Even, one resident shared the paranormal activities of the Mona Bruja where he supposed that he overheard the monkey witch beating on the wall of his house and then it suddenly started running from one room to another room.

He further added that the residents have tried to catch the monkey, but they were unsuccessful at their attempt. The person also said that the Mona Bruja was alert of their plan and therefore it refused to appear. Many similar cases have been reported earlier as well.

According to reports, in 2021, the presence of another “monkey witch” was reported in the area of Nicaragua. Even, people living in the area of Granada, appealed to the presence of this monkey witch as it tossed large stones on the roofs of their houses. Spectators appealed that they had once bumped into the monkey witch.

They were horrified after the encounter. The community also tried to form a group to hunt down the suspected witch. But the disclosure turned everything upside down. When the monkey witch was caught, it turned out that he was a young man playing a prank with everyone.
