On the heels of the holiday season, January 2025 is characteristically slow for theatrical movie releases — particularly family-friendly options.
But movie releases speed up in February, thanks to the release of Marvel’s “Captain America: Brave New World” and a third “Paddington” movie.
While new releases are dry during the early weeks of the new year, there’s time to enjoy the runoff of holiday movie releases during their final weeks in theaters before they retire to streaming platforms. “Wicked,” “Gladiator II” and “Moana” are still in theaters.
Here are 10 new movies coming to theaters during Winter 2025.
