Peru is on track to become the second fastest-growing economy in Latin America this year, according to a statement made on Monday by economy minister Jose Salardi during a press conference.
Salardi highlighted fiscal improvements and foreign investment as key factors bolstering the growth of Peru’s economic landscape. The South American country is rebounding from an economic recession, buoyed by supportive government policies and central bank strategies.
Looking ahead, both the government and central bank anticipate favorable economic conditions by 2025, predicting less inflationary pressure and a resurgence in investment activities.
